For health centers

With Eartheffect's proven workshop concept, all employees of retirement centers or other healthcare institutions are sensitized to the challenges of sustainable development.

What do we offer?

Healthcare

Eartheffect developed a concept that was originally intended for the city of Zurich's retirement centers. In recent years, these facilities have benefited from the workshops at various levels. The workshops offer employees the opportunity to gain new knowledge about energy, climate change and resource scarcity in a fun and interactive way. They are also encouraged to think about possible improvements in their own working environment.

The participants particularly appreciate the fact that they can develop their own ideas as part of the workshop and become active beyond their usual area of work. In the workshops, discussions take place across departments and hierarchies, with an exchange taking place at eye level. This promotes mutual appreciation and has a positive effect on team integration.

Over 80% of participants expressed the desire to actually implement the measures developed in the workshop. Most of these measures are aimed at resource-efficient work and adjustments to processes, work equipment or services, which benefits the environment and can help to reduce costs

What are the benefits of the workshops?

Sustainable development requires shared commitment and support. Therefore, our workshops are designed to engage a broad range of employees in the design and implementation of sustainability strategies.

Key data on the workshops

„The workshop is elementary and meaningful in relation to highly topical (world) issues such as environmental protection, sustainability, and many more. The employees now think more about what they could do differently and better.“

Mirjana Busljeta (Operations Manager)

„Our goal was to sensitize employees to sustainability and to trigger conversations and discussions about it. This was more than successful and it became apparent that the different points of view of the employees led to personal reflection, which most of them found personally beneficial. - Frank Heepen (Home Manager)“

Frank Heeren (Home Manager)
